• [x] Go over the lab manual again on your own (ask on Slack if you have any questions).
• [x] Read the Code of Conduct carefully.
• [x] Study the Software Carpentry lessons on Version Control with Git, Python, and the Unix Shell. They will be crucial for your project. Go over Git and the Unix Shell first.
• [ ] Edit your page on the website (if you want). See the website contributing guide for instructions.
• [x] Explore the GitHub organization to see what the group is working on.
• [x] Go and start making something brilliant!

@Souza-junior welcome to the lab GitHub! You should have received an invitation to join the compgeolab organization. Usually notifications will go to your email but you can disable that if you want. I really like the GitHub notification system and it works well for me since I'm in here every day anyway.
