Annotation layers could be made customizable by introducing a "tagset_options" column in the DB. Examples of what could be done with this are:

norm/norm_broad: turn greyed-out preview on/off
norm_type: make it activate on norm entry instead, or be always active
lemma: customize how/when previews are shown, turn off verification box
lemmapos: turn off auto-select on POS annotation
pos: customize morphology auto-select

etc. etc. ....
