ENH: Changed synthetic data and generation to 3 floating point decimals

Summary

Every time tests were launched, far decimals were changing a bit so the data was varying every time a local test session was launched.

Key changes:

• Now only 3 decimals are stored in the synthetic data, so it does not fluctuate.
