Dear Sir/Madam,

When trying to download the MPA, I get the following error "Not found", the jar file is not available from https://github.com/compomics/meta-proteome-analyzer/releases/download/v1.9.0/mpa-portable-1.9.0.zip

can you please advise @adder @nielshulstaert @iain8 @DavyMaddelein @paretje

You can get 1.9.0 from: https://github.com/compomics/meta-proteome-analyzer/releases/download/portable-v1.9.0/mpa-portable-1.9.0.zip

Note that that isn't the most recent version though.

Version 2.0 cannot be found when clicking on the current link under downloads found on github. I managed to download 1.9.0 using the link provided by you, but when I try to run the windows batch file, nothing pops up. (The command console pops up for less than a second then disappears). Any Ideas? Help?

The 2.0 version (the recommended version) can also be directly downloaded from here: https://github.com/compomics/meta-proteome-analyzer/releases/download/portable-v2.0.0/mpa-portable-2.0.0.zip

In Windows, you can open the Power Shell and open MPA via java -jar mpa-portable-2.0.0.jar

Please let me know if you need some help.

Edit: @alialhaid, this should of course also work with the 1.9.0 version

@tivdnbos Thanks for providing the link! When running the line on console, I get an (Error: Unable to acess jarfile) for both 2.0 and 1.9. Java is in it's latest version, not sure what the issue is then. Screenshot (6)

@tivdnbos I have also tried to do it this way, but I just get a frozen window. Screenshot (7)

@thilus Any idea what this causes?
