Support for timsTOF data? #322

Hi There, I am wondering if there are any plans to ever support timsTOF data in a way, so that they can be directly loaded into SearchGUI? .d files can of course be converted to mgf format, but it´s a loooong haul for each and every run.... Best, Hannes

Hi Hannes,

I'm afraid this is not something we are planning on implementing in the near future. But in any case the spectrum data would have to be converted to mgf (or mzML) to be used as input for the included search engines. Hence at the moment the conversion is unavoidable anyway.
