Null search gives HTTP 500 error #8

I'm fixing it now, just gonna make it do an empty search string, should return all results. (we're limiting the no. of results right?)

so basically my env is refusing to install simple captcha, so I can't test it... but I think I fixed it... otherwise you should be able to see what I changed and have a fiddle
