Options saving not possible #1

Actually, there is a critical bug: it is not possible to save changes in the 
settings. Apparently the Opt files are read only.

It is a normal program behavior. You have either to save options after changing 
one (Options/Save) or check Automatic saving (Options/Automatic save).
