Tab characters missing from "XLIFF with RTF" files generated from IDML #259

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.You use the test_job.rnb file to generate the translation package
2.You use the output_job.rnb file to generate the "translated" idml file.
3. You will see the quite some, if not all, of the tab's are missing from the
generated file, as you can see from the included 2 PDF files.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Tab's are very common in professional typesetting in InDesign, so that they
should be kept.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Rainbow 6.0.17

Please provide any additional information below.

Fredrik, just to keep you posted: the attribytes NumberingExpression="^#.^t"
BulletsTextAfter="^t" seem to be removed on merging or extracting.
I'll look at it, while I work on the <Br/> change.

I'm afraid the IDML filter has been a lower priority. Most of our fixes these
days have been driven from our "day" jobs so the fixes and enhancements don't
normally come from the issue list. But I'm hoping later this year things will
slow down enough to work on these issues.
