[WIP] Unit tests and new swagger specification

This PR is there if someone feels like going forward with this so it doesn't stay unoticed on my fork ;-)

State of this: Global structure for the tests is in place and I started working on the swagger 1.2 specs. It also needs a rebase on master, obviously.

Todo:

• Have a decent test coverage
• Put some automated tests in place for django 1.6., 1.7 , python 2.6, 2.7, 3.3, 3.4 (shipit / travis ?)
