Large base image #53

Is using the large ubuntu base image required here? One image layer is 1.11 GB.

It's not required, a smaller image could be built. The reason it's so large is because it contains all the base resource-types. You basically have ubuntu stored 14 times inside that image :(

Closing because I think this answers your question and it's pretty stale.
