Hi @hitblunders I am almost sure that we already have those definitions inside our docs (we might need to search though). But I agreed that a more outstanding place should clarify some beginner's thoughts about those terms... If you can't find then look in the CFEP's their definitions should be there. About the glossary idea, IDK, cause if you follow the submit a package guide to conda-forge you will encounter the def's of most of these terms.

Thank you for responding @viniciusdc. Yes, I saw that definitions of most of the terms are there in the website somewhere. All I was saying is can we keep them in a separate place so that it's more easy for an absolute beginner to get complete clarity of thought?
Hi @hitblunders, thank you for coming up with this question. It is true that sometimes as a beginner you may get lost in the docs and become overwhelmed with the terms hence giving up on learning. I think finding a better way of structuring the terms before proceeding to the actual content is very necessary.
can i work on this
Hey can I work on this? I am an outreach applicant
When a beginner goes through the documentation, it may be quite overwhelming for him/her and he/she may feel lost. Is it a good idea to add definition for some basic terminologies like recipe(@Aaishpra already worked on it), feedstock etc. somewhere(may be in the glossary)?
