This issue is blocked by #20 due to https://github.com/conda-forge/cupy-feedstock/pull/37#issuecomment-586145030.

cupy/cupy#2584 is merged! But, I noticed there is no more hash sum issues in recent update PRs (something is fixed by GH I guess?), so perhaps we can stay with GitHub releases?

Closing as the recent releases (7.6.0, 7.7.0) no longer requires manually updating the hash sum.
