I think it does exist on conda: https://anaconda.org/anaconda/dash-bio
That is a very old version (0.2 vs. 0.7). Furthermore, it is available only on linux (https://anaconda.org/anaconda/dash-bio/files):
conda search dash-bio

Good catch, i’ll try submitting a PR to conda’s dash-bio for the latest, but until then i’d stick with 1.57.0
Good catch, i’ll try submitting a PR to conda’s dash-bio for the latest, but until then i’d stick with 1.57.0
And please, for the other operating systems, if you can.
Thanks!
Not sure how to get other operating systems but I submitted the PR i’ll wait a few days and if i get no response i’ll work on making dash-bio and optional dependency.
Couldn't wait any longer so I just updated dash-bio to be an optional dependency like you asked and released v1.58.3
Issue:
Since dash-bio is added to the requirements, dtale version is not updating because
nothing provides dash-bio needed by dtale-1.58.2
. Even if I install dash-bio by using pip (check my environment) it is not detected and I can't update dtale. Is this library a strong requirement? Could you make it optional until someone creates a conda-forge recipe?
Thanks!
