I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe) and found it was in an excellent condition.

I do have some suggestions for making it better though...

For recipe:

License is not an SPDX identifier (or a custom LicenseRef) nor an SPDX license expression.

I think this PR should work if / when https://github.com/conda-forge/h5py-feedstock/pull/72 is updated / merged. Otherwise this PR will probably need to specify its hdf5 dependency as 1.10.5 for compatibility with the current release of h5py. Since h5py is only a testing requirement, it would also suffice to change the testing so that it does not require h5py.

(It's also possible that I'm misunderstanding or there are further conflicts I'm unaware of.)

Closing, I no longer need this. If this feature is needed, it may be possible to do now. Upstream issues with h5py have been solved:
