Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.
I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe
) and found it was in an excellent condition.
Thanks @ocefpaf. Let's wait for the packages to deploy then restart things requiring libtiff
.
IMHO we should start with the lowest level packages in the stack first so that we can get them properly pinned and rebuilt. That we can propagate this up through the stack in a consistent, sane manner.
@jakirkham heads up. I will be away 21-24th. And chances are I will get lost on what is going on once I get back
Yeah, I'm also going to be in and out for the next few days this week due to some other internal stuff that needs immediate attention. Also, will be out of town 22-25th.
cc @pelson so that you know both of us might be unavailable in the near future for a bit.
So, Mac and Linux packages are deployed. Windows is building currently.
Thanks for the heads up! Enjoy your time away @ocefpaf. Good luck with the internal stuff @jakirkham.
Thanks @pelson.
Windows has now uploaded. All packages are available. Do you want to try this out @ocefpaf?
Are you sure you want to go away @jakirkham and @ocefpaf? https://twitter.com/wesmckinn/status/722819910771044352 might just bump up the numbers here 😆
And we are still behind our own blog post!
No pressure guys. Watch us get a 100s of PRs to staged-recipes.
Though I guess it is cool to see the reach we have. Great work guys.
This tricks the solver into not seeing the package in
defaults
(libtiff 4.0.6 1). Instead it will see ours. However, this package will never be used. In fact, the solver will see this and then see the newer version (libtiff 4.0.6 3) and upgrade outright. This requires no additional changes to any packages that expect to use our version oflibtiff
beyond whatever pinning is already done. This can be reverted after the package is built.
