@dschreij I think it should suffice to remove tests for .la files that are now deprecated in conda ( see https://github.com/conda-forge/conda-forge.github.io/issues/621)

@carlodri, I added you as a maintainer. I sadly don't have the time to work on this at the moment, and I'm not up to speed either with everything that is currently happening in the conda-verse; I really need to reread the docs.
