Cannot disable defaults channel #542

Solution to issue cannot be found in the documentation.

Issue

Copy pasting the command from the docs results in error. Also if it's not recommended, why isn't it disabled by default? mamba create --override-channels ... returns

Your conda info does show the correct config:

You need to specify a name for your environment.

Btw, which docs are you referring to? I cannot find any mention of a mamba create command in our README.

I think you might be referring to the mamba docs, which are maintained elsewhere (check mamba-org/mamba). The ellipsis in that command is supposed to mean "add any further options as necessary", not a copy-pastable example. Raise an issue on their issue tracker if necessary.

I'll close here for now since there's not much we can do about their docs. Thanks!
