install fails #71

Issue:

When installing pyarrow there is a verification failed error:

Preparing transaction: done
Verifying transaction: failed

RemoveError: 'requests' is a dependency of conda and cannot be removed from
conda's operating environment.
RemoveError: 'setuptools' is a dependency of conda and cannot be removed from
conda's operating environment.

Details about conda and system ( conda info ):

Are you trying to install in the root environment?

No, I am installing in my conda env but im starting to suspect its something related to anaconda.

I updated conda, updated anaconda and loaded back into my environment. It worked. It was something with base anaconda being too old even if my environment was recent! Ignore the basics of troubleshooting at your peril!
