5.9.2 Produces "black" renders using Mayavi #56

As per this issue mentioned here:

It seems that 5.9.x doesn't play well with OSX. Looks like perhaps >5.10.2 fixes this issue. I know it's not very productive to just request a new build as pyqt is extremely difficult to get building correctly but just to highlight this may be a "known" issue until we release a new build.

outdated, retry with 5.12
