It is very likely that the current package version for this feedstock is out of date.

Dependency Analysis

Please note that this analysis is highly experimental. The aim here is to make maintenance easier by inspecting the package's dependencies. Importantly this analysis does not support optional dependencies, please double check those before making changes. If you do not want hinting of this kind ever please add bot: inspection: false to your conda-forge.yml. If you encounter issues with this feature please ping the bot team conda-forge/bot.

Analysis by source code inspection shows a discrepancy between it and the the package's stated requirements in the meta.yaml.

Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe) and found it was in an excellent condition.

Hi! This is the friendly conda-forge automerge bot!

I considered the following status checks when analyzing this PR:

Thus the PR was not passing and not merged.

Arh, right, the azure pipeline is failing because DAQP is not on conda-forge yet.

@Tobias-Fischer maybe you can add it to the dependencies from PyPI? Perhaps @darnstrom you would consider adding a recipe for DAQP on conda-forge as well?

As far as I understand, the reason why solvers (e.g. OSQP, ProxQP, SCS) are there is that it enables CPU optimizations that are not possible with manylinux wheels on PyPI (because manylinux prioritizes compatibility over performance).

Perhaps @darnstrom you would consider adding a recipe for DAQP on conda-forge as well?

I will try to make time to look into this during the week. After a quick skim it does not seem to be too much work.

Tobias-Fischer commented 1 year ago

Sure, please ping me once it’s on conda forge.

darnstrom commented 1 year ago

FYI: I am currently waiting for this PR to get merged.

Just tried conda install daqp and it worked (if numpy is installed, but numpy is already a dependency of qpsolvers).
