Solution to issue cannot be found in the documentation.
[X] I checked the documentation.
Issue
I am working on my institution's computing cluster, where neither conda, nor sage, nor Singular are pre-installed, and I do not have sudo privileges.
After installing miniforge, and then installing sage via miniforge, and then adding the sage environment as a Jupyter Notebook kernel (here is the [kernel.json file](), executing the following line
from sage.rings.polynomial.multi_polynomial_libsingular import (MPolynomialRing_libsingular as PolynomialRing,)
fails with the error message (incl. a longer strack trace)
FeatureNotPresentError: singular is not available. Executable 'Singular' not found on PATH.
On my local installation running this line works fine.
Other, similar issues here don't seem to match my case exactly (please forgive me if they do). What happened in this case, or what step am I missing?
