@ocefpaf, I didn't want to loose your previous work, so I'm reopening your last PR from my fork.

I just don't agree with the PyQt pin you added because it's very restricted. What would happen when new PyQt packages are available in conda-forge?

@ocefpaf, I'm going to follow your suggestion regarding PyQt because I understand how ugly and tiresome are those bugs about mixing defaults and conda-forge.
