Do we / should we use Dependabot? #388

Is there some way we can be tracking new major releases? Dependabot maybe? If you think it could be helpful, please make an issue for it.

We could provided this is properly setup and we review and merge the PRs, otherwise we end up with loads of dependabot PRs
