As part of recent discussion around governance, a somewhat smaller (though still quite important) point about what date deadlines mean came up. In particular when a deadline is reached. This comment ( https://github.com/conda-incubator/governance/pull/51#discussion_r926504767 ) suggested AoE (Anywhere on Earth) deadlines might make sense. IOW the deadline is reached when Anywhere on Earth is past that deadline. This makes a lot of sense given our distributed nature. Adopting this clearly and clarifying it would help avoid future confusion around deadlines.
