Full Network Logger with Allowed or Blocked, Port #, Protocol, FQDN, and IP #86

Open gbu117 opened 3 years ago

Logger including widget, with color coding based on allowed or blocked, including following information - port number, protocol, FQDN, and IP address with ability to check whois information either using direct whois or whois API services.

The ability to see the allowed requests is critical for me. Otherwise, it's difficult to create custom block rules for ad and tracker URLs that you don't already know.

Full logging of allowed and blocked connections could be problematic for those using this for privacy pruposes. It could have some value for other purposes though, so if it gets added, I believe it should be toggleable.

@Fromalaska49 It would be critical for these logs to be generated and stored locally, without ever uploading them to any destination for any reason, ever. Anything else would be unacceptable IMO. Additional options can/should include a configurable TTL.

Privacy concerns become a blocker to this request, any allowed requests could default to be auto-purged from logs much more frequently: perhaps as low as 5 minutes?
