I recently faced an issue that I think is due to the maxBytes parameter in a request. I believe I hit a message that was too big to be transferred through the given parameter. That caused my Kafka Consumer Group to register lag. I think the behavior is fine, however, there was no logs showing this was the case. It would be great to be informed if a similar scenario happens again.
