Changelog? #66

Is there a changelog or release notes? Or do I need to just go through the git history?

https://github.com/confluentinc/kafka-connect-datagen/blob/0.3.x/CHANGELOG.md hasn't been updated for a while.

@rmoff good catch. For now you'd have to go through git history.

@confluentinc/connect moving forward, is there an automated way to keep CHANGELOG.md up to date? If not, should we consider removing that file from the repo entirely?

bump :) I can see this went to 0.4 recently, it would be great if we could keep a simple note of what's changed, perhaps just on the github release page /cc @rspurgeon

@rmoff I appreciate the request however It could be tricky to do 'ad-hoc' given the multiple teams that chip into this repository and no single ownership (multiple teams have executed the releases). I don't see an official release procedure for this repo at this time and I'm not setup to institute one. The releases page has a nice feature to compare to previous releases but one must look at code changes. So, if that's not sufficient I'd request one team allocate time to setup a better process /cc @ybyzek cc @confluentinc/connect
