'sticky' workspace #17

Closed ghost closed 9 years ago

Hi,

Would it be possible to have a workspace which is always shown regardless of what other workspace is showing, sort of a like a sticky window?

It would be useful for information bars and other things like that.

Do you mean a feature to show window on all workspaces?

Any thoughts on what to do with stickied windows when multiple workspaces are visible simultaneously in a multi-monitor/region setup?

I don’t think it can be done tbh. Not sure how to handle such a thing. What are the current suggestions?

I honestly dislike this but I get that people would like this. I'll take a well written PR.
