"error in nodes or region shapefile" message silences the underlying error message #20

While debugging a script with @JoryGriffith, we found that the more detailed error message that would be produced by this function : https://github.com/connectscape/Makurhini/blob/e5ff67c01dbf623a0d1b38edc5c1f1bb977d56b3/R/input_grid.R

is silenced by the caller here: https://github.com/connectscape/Makurhini/blob/e5ff67c01dbf623a0d1b38edc5c1f1bb977d56b3/R/MK_ProtConn.R#L149C1-L151C4

Printing the original error message would help debugging. Thanks!
