This is a different issue to bug #3 as the screen freezes and chromium doesn't actually close

the clock freezes showing that the bug occurs mostly at 12:10 but at differing seconds

so I added a line to crontab to call a script that kills chrome. 0 0 * * * /var/www/html/Killchrome.sh

hacky but effective (hopefully)
