6 years ago This is great. People have had trouble with the original small components for a long time now. I've regretted not originally picking better packages and am really glad you made the update. This will make it much easier for folks, I am sure.

I increased the sizes of the smallest components to be more hobbyist friendly.
Might satisfy https://github.com/conorpp/u2f-zero/issues/53.
Changes:
Switched the diode from SOT-553 to SOT-353 (only mildly larger, but still helpful).
Switched the LED from 0606 to 3228. The LED is significantly thicker, but it's next to the switch, which was already not especially flat, so it doesn't impact the overall device profile by much.
Using a uniform 0805 for all passives: got bit by the 0402/0603 discrepancy on my first U2F Zero build, when I assumed all capacitors were 0603.
Both the main board and panelized boards are updated to the design in the current PR. I'm hoping no one has any brilliant tweaks I should make, because I positioned the panelized version by hand.
Moved the mousebites on the panelized board a bit further out of the final finished board size, so the final board outline has shallower notches. This does mean that there's a very small amount of additional filing to finish the boards.
Updated the BOM with replacement parts. Note that I didn't put in the time to find the cheapest capacitors, since I personally was drawing from a book of passives I already had, and just found a somewhat reasonable capacitor line sized to 0805 with a 0.1uF option.
I fabricated this design (panelized) with Dirty PCBs and verified it works with the Yubico demo site.
I'm hopefully not regressing anything fixed in https://github.com/conorpp/u2f-zero/pull/37, but I also don't have the expertise to ensure this is so.
