Hi Astrid, I'm checking this and let you know if I can reproduce this issue as soon as possible. Pascal

Hi Pascal,

Quick as always. Wondering if it is a problem with Joomla tasks in general BTW. I have a task for global checkin every 2 hours and in scheduled tasks I see

  Global Check-in 22-09-2024 17:16 22-09-2024 19:16

So somehow it seems to have the same problem.

Regards, Astrid

Hi, On your third image, I see a task in progress : astrid_task

In this case, no other task will work until it ends.

What is this blocked task ?

Pascal

conseilgouz commented 2 hours ago

Just disable this 'blocked task' so that all other scheduled tasks should run.

Hi Pascal, That's the automsg task. That's the problem.

Hi Astrid, You are talking about version 4.1.6. Is this AutoMsg version ? I have no trace of this version. May be 4.2.6 ? If so, please update it to latest one : 4.2.16 You may also want to enable Log file to All to see if any error has been detected. A log file will be created in administrator/logs directory. Pascal

Pinkeltje commented 1 hour ago

Sorry it is latest version 4.2.16. I now unlocked task through phpmyadmin in table scheduler_tasks and now with test task I receive my latest articles (on my local testsite).

Maybe just a glitch somewhere? Checked user logs to see if there were any actions that could have caused this around sept 22th, but nothing unusual. Suggest you leave it for now. I'll enable log file so that I can give you more info when it happens again.

Deleted all entries from sept 22th to oct 31st from automsg table on live site to prevent users receiving notifications about old articles. This task will run tonight, so fingers crossed.
