As noted in #72 the component usually open the datepicker below the input, even if its at the bottom of the page, so in that case its not possible to interact with the element.
It seem an issue related to the Rome script (see bevacqua/rome#62 ) that should have been solved, check the documentation and add a parameter to the component for making this easy to configure.
