Describe the bugCONTRIBUTING.md mentions that PRs should be merged to devel while stable is managed by the maintainers. It appears that devel has been replaced with main at some point, while stable appears to be abandoned. The issue template also still references devel.
I do not feel comfortable changing these myself as I do not know what your internal policies are.
