Contao Manager - Package update stalls (Strato Webhoster) #601

Hi I am running a Contao 4.9 installation on a Strato shared webspace. The Contao-Manager worked fine so far on that system, but with the current update I tried to update all packages (basically contao and message center only), the system seems to hang:

This is now running since 2800 seconds.

Any idea why and how to fix this?

Okay, killing it ("Abbrechen"), reloading the page despite the warning ("Could leave your installation in faulty status") and restarting the process seems to work.
