All frontpage images gone after update from 2.11.6 to 3.0

Hey, I am currently experimenting with an update from 2.11.6 to 3.0 on my local machine and after the update, all images from content elements are gone. I followed the following steps to do the update:

• Remember/Backup installed Extensions
• Delete /system
• Delete /contao
• Delete /typolight
• Delete /plugins
• Rename /tl_files to /files
• Copy 3.0 files into the website folder (fetched from git 3.0.0 branch > head a few minutes ago)
• Call /contao/install.php and do the three update steps
• Copy saved extensions back into system/modules/ (was one extension: dlh_googlemaps)
• Update/Clean database with the install tool

Interesting is, that the images are missing despite if I rename the tl_files folder before upgrading, or not.

One thing is clear: We need to prevent people from renaming the tl_files folder before the update.

I somehow managed now to do the update after the 4th or so try. I did not rename the tl_files folder.
