Hmm, that does not work. Obviously it now shows the raw code. What was the problem in the first place? The Travis build error? Please revert the changes so we can try again.

If < and > signs are not escaped, the following markdown code is gray in my code editor... I'm not sure if the markdown code will be interpreted correctly by GitBook after this change.
