Let's think about htis.
On a full hey, four check boxes:
On a half hey, only two check boxes:
Since variable numbers of parameters as a function of other parameters are not a thing we can do easily, this'd be an argument for splitting hey
into full hey for 4
and half hey for 4
, as it was in 2016. That's not incredibly hard, just humbling.
If I remember the hey until
request correctly, this will stack pretty ambiguously with that, right? Maybe we need 'hey week'.
Maybe we have a freakin' bank of checkboxes, all on one line
Richochets: 1 [ ] 2 [ ] 3 [ ] 4 [ ]
That'd be opaque to the user until they clicked one and saw the figure text update. Say if they clicked the one labeled 4 on a full hey with gents leading, the figure text would update to gentlespoons start a hey, ladles the 2nd time you pass ricochet back
Getting all 4 checkboxes on the same line would be a formal pain in the drain, and on searches each checkbox would have to be replaced with a 3-way radio (checked, unchecked, and *). Ugh, no let's keep it simple stupid, and put each checkbox on it's own line.
Heys should allow a 'ricochet' option (presumably a checkbox similar to balance or meltdown for swing).
the ricochet will need [who, if full hey whether first, last, or both]
This might tie in with a more full hey refactoring (see https://github.com/contradb/contra/issues/290 )
Also, ricochet vs push-back might be a term to include in dialects)
