Page duplication

The pages are still linked to each other so a change in the duplicated page is reflected in the original. All elements on the duplicated page are listed twice at the outset after initial duplication.

Need to fix before load

This is a new feature which is in progress. It should not have been merge yet though. Avoid to use it til this is complete and this ticket closed.

Being able to clone a page with all its content placements, then edit without changing the original is an important feature for eCommerce sites. Lots of product pages will have similar but slightly different information.

Cloning will be a common action for managing products and variants in Breeze Commerce.

Related; duplicating a page now creates duplicate partials on the new page as well ie. where there was one partial in the region, there are now two (shared) copies. This occurs for all partials.

Just observed, duplicating page A to get page B has removed all content from Page A. Possibly the two copies of partials on page B come from sucking them off page A? Unfortunately I have now deleted page B, which in turn has thrown away all of the content from page A :(

This feature will be merged into 2.0.x. We don't plan to make it happen into 1.0.x. Also we need to remove the duplication button in the edge of 1.0.x.
