Right now, some colors on the application are being left "unchosen", so the defaults are being used (namely some background colors). The problem is that a bug there seems to exist on MIUI which causes dark mode to be forced on the application when the system is on dark mode, which renders the application as follows:
Explicitly setting the background colors would make this go away, as those colors wouldn't change when on dark mode.
