In Amanda's current notes, she writes:

In order to compute , we will use pimms [Mukai 1993](https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1993Legac...3...21M) to convert 1 count/s to X-ray flux for the \nicer, telescope, given the X-ray absorption (
;[HI4PI Collaboration 2016](https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2016A&A...594A.116H)) along the line of sight.

Don't we want to re-use the machinery we built for the M81R paper to convert from count limits to fluence limits using the NICER & XMM ARFs? Paul & I have code for this.

In other words, don't use PIMMS. We have something better that incorporates the response function at the time of each X-ray exposure.

We do, you're right. Worked on this this week based on code Paul shared with me from M81 paper.

Here is what I'm doing now (for XMM)
