What is set_auth_cookie()? #273

Hi!

When I run login.exe, there is a question auth_cookie.

Could you tell me what is auth_cookie and What should I do to login?

Every time somebody asks something about the login example the answer is "this 
app is not expected to run alone". But I don't know what's its purpose. I don't 
think call example uses this app (altough I think it uses some of login 
classes, I don't think call example runs it). So, why the login example 
generates an executable file?
