Scoping meeting - Checklist #111

The scoping meeting is held after the powerGate standard is delivered and tested by the customer. The goal of the scoping meeting is to identify workflows needed from the customer that are not covered from the standard.

Item Update - Direction Default: Vault -> ERP bidirectional is possible, but must be definded very carefully.
BOM-Transfer - Manual 'BOM Transfer' Yes We recommend to use the manual 'BOM Transfer' command, to avoid rejection of the release. In the BOM window the BOM can be compared.
BOM-Transfer - Raw Material Yes, like "normal" parts Are Raw Materials inserted from ERP in Inventor or designed as derived parts? -> Vault UDPs are "Raw Material Number" and "Raw Material Quantity" are required!
BOM-Transfer - Virtual Components? Yes, like "normal" parts Virtual Components are inserted from ERP in Inventor. Therefore only for file centric workflow.
BOM-Transfer - Special workflow for iPart families needed? No Only for file centric workflow
BOM-Transfer - Content Center files to be transferred to ERP? Yes, same as "normal" parts
Check on release - ERP items exists? Yes Check when file/item is released.
Check on release - ERP items locked? Yes Check when file/item is released.
Check on release - ERP BOM exists? Yes Check whether ERP BOM exists when assembly file/item is released.
