Wanted to raise an issue about Recipe design Vs Brewday recipe. It strikes me
that these are the two relatively separate issues regarding recipe's.
Firstly you want to design a recipe - where you may be looking more at how an
ingredient will contribute to the gravity points of the beer.
In this area, weight of ingredient may not be so much of a consideration, and I
know I fell into the trap of looking at/changing weight at this point, and
finding it change on me later.
Perhaps we should not give the ability to change the weight in the recipe
design - but only in the brewday recipe area - where people are going to get
the correct weight based on their brewery configuration anyway.
So the suggestion is
- in the recipe editor, allow gravity point configuration of ingredients
- in the brewday editor allow both
