As you can see in the title, I thought about the controller I'm using, an 8BitDo Lite 2. I tried to change the Switch Controller mode (Controller Pro mode works) and the game stopped freezing.
Sometimes my controller tends to disconnect (wired mode) due to instability with the USB-C/USB 3.0 cable, and I have to reconnect it to get it working again. The game freezes when I try to reconnect or change the internal mode of the controller
Describe the bug I tried this today, I was able to play well for the first few hours.
But then, when entering a canyon in a level near the entrance (the level where there is an abyss, and there are piranhas), the game froze, you could hear the stuttering sound.
I tried to restart the game, the game kept freezing, after I exited Start Game... you could hear Mario's voice stuttering with a black screen. The window freezes.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: I was just in an online game, the game went from changing levels and looking for stars in random positions, to taking us to Peach's castle like a normal game, after entering 2 or 3 levels and entering that canyon the game started to freeze
