Distinguish between customer time slots and couriers time slots

In order to clarify rounds for couriers

As a dispatcher

I want to be able to define couriers time slots different than customer time slots

Whereas currently there is only one field, which is restrictive for dispatch and impairs readability for courier :

• restrictive for dispatch : I can't change tasks time slots, otherwise I loose information. For instance, customer orders time slots can be "any time in the day", but the tour I define as dispatch makes sense only if the courier is in a more specific time slot. If I change the time slot in the tasks, then the time slot is modified in the order too, and I loose track of what the real order is, which can be problematic, for instance if I have to modify the tour for some reason.
• impairs readability for courier : If dispatcher leaves orders time slots, courier has no first glance information on the time slot he must be in for his tour to work well : sometimes for instance, the next drop may have a very wide time slot, but the pickup after that a smaller one. With many taks in a tour this can become very confuse and lead to mistakes.

Being able to define couriers time slots (constrained inside customer time slots) would be very helpfull.

This issue is really about creating a new visualization of tasks that shows tasks inside a timeline in which each tasks can be understood by how "precise" or not it is correct? If so, this is a feature that is being working on at the moment, but I do not know if it is being considered for the coursier, or just the dispatcher... @jimakker ?

Maybe it should be implemented with a "history of changes" on the time slot.
