Hi, I'm interested if you got anymore info on xt_coova?
No I haven't got any feedback (yet). I think that OpenWRT isn't really the focus for Coova.
use your mind, read the file named "functions", you will get something for help
That function didn't tell me much, but I did find that "xt" in xt_coova refers to xtables, which is I believe the table part of iptables. Not really sure how this can help you not needing TAP/TUN tho.
MODULE_DESCRIPTION("Xtables: \"coova\" module for use with CoovaChilli");
search keyword "HS_KNAME"
I'm running CentOS 6.4 and have Shorewall running on the server too, so I've had to disable the iptables scripts in coova.
How would xt_coova help an installation on CentOS?
I saw a reference to xt_coova in a different thread. What I understand is that with it you no longer need TUN/TAP? I run a OpenWRT router with limited hardware, performance is important. Where can I find more details on what it is and how to use xt_coova?
Thanks
