Need to check for duplicates through a range of addresses #54

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have a large contact list.
2. It can take hours or days to complete (and often bombs).
3. Correcting a long list of dups can take days too.
4. Can it display how far it has gotten on the list (this could be a periodic 
update - not necessarily displaying every record it checks - if that slows it 
down much.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If we had a start & stop "range" it could be taken in manageable "chunks".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.2 XP

Please provide any additional information below.

OR: if we could simply STOP it from looking any farther and then be able to act 
on the DUPS it found up till that point.
