I want to try installing Chromium in DSL Linux, but can't right now.

DSL is based on a 2.4 kernel and hasn't received an update in a while. I don't think it will be able to run 9pfs any time soon. Other profiles may be possible, but let's close this unless you have any specific suggestions.
