Update to 1.8.9

I wanted to know, do you have time to update AHO to 1.8.9 ^^ ? If yes do you plan to wait more major release for 1.8.9 or you are already working on it ?

Hope you did not drop this master piece ( it's one of my favorite mods :D ).

I've stopped modding completely, so sorry, but no. I wouldn't mind anyone picking it up. Not sure how difficult it'd be to port.

Many reasons, not even sure I can think of them all right now..

• It's a lot of work. Minecraft updates bring more work.
• This is especially problematic considering I wanted to remake my mods and then create some more.
• I had a specific vision for what kind of mods I wanted to make and the resulting experience.
• This vision didn't fit with what most other mods seem to be doing, or what the players wanted. Mods that make things easier (every other backpack-adding mod) or outright overpowered get way more attention than ones that actually offer interesting, balanced alternatives (BetterStorage backpacks).
• The modding community isn't really that great. Forge is controlled by someone I don't like.
• Minecraft modding around Java is probably eventually going to run out, with MC Win10 edition.
• With the amount of things I'd want to change in Minecraft, I might as well make my own game. (And in 10 years maybe I'll actually finish it.)
• Java. Blegh.
